On your own, or with a group of friends, you will get to take photos on the parts of campus that mean the most to you! We don't offer outdoor grad shoots during the winter months. Instead, we reserve the time for Indoor grad headshots. We open up bookings again starting in April. The spring is a great time to schedule a session if you couldn't fit it in your fall schedule. By this time the temperature becomes a bit more comfortable for outdoor photos!

when should I do my grad photos?

When you choose to book your grad photos is totally up to you! While we offer graduation photoshoots all year round there are some things to consider for what time of year you book.


The summer season (June - September) is our favourite time of the year to take grad photos. Most students are home for these months so campus is less busy. If you love the bright summer aesthetic we recommend having your session during these months!

By far the most popular (and busy) time of year for grad photos. By October the campus turns into a beautiful mix of red, yellow, and orange. The temperature is chilly (with the occasional warm days).  Our schedule fills up very quickly for October sessions, so we recommend booking your grad photoshoot in August or September.

When we confirm we are still available on the day you requested and have all the appropriate gowns/hoods available, we will send you a Client Portal. The contract needs to be signed and a 50% retainer payment needs to be made to officially be booked in our calendar.

frequently asked questions

how long does it take to receive the photos?

We send a sneak peek of 10-15 photos within 48 hours of your photoshoot. You will receive the remaining edited photos within 6-8 weeks of your session.

do you have grad gowns and hoods?

Yes we do! An undergrad gown and program hood is included in the session price, so you don't have to worry about booking your own. During the booking process you will send us your height & program info so that we can have the proper regalia prepared. We will bring your gowns and hoods to your photoshoot.

what if the weather is bad on my session day?

We keep a close eye on the weather forecast during the week of your session. If there's likely to be inclement weather that would affect your photoshoot we will be in close contact to reschedule to another available day.

who will be my photographer for the photoshoot?

If your shoot is booked for the fall semester, one of our associate team members will be taking your photos for the session. You can learn more about our associate team here.

how does payment work for group sessions?

We will send an invoice along with all documents to the person who sent in the booking request. They will be our main point of contact. 50% of your session total must be paid in order to book your photoshoot, and the remaining 50% is due on the session day. We accept online payment via e-transfer or credit card. All payments must come through the person who sent the booking request. 

how far in advance should i book my grad photos?

We recommend getting in touch with us no later than 1 month before your desired photoshoot date. For sessions in October we recommend starting the booking process in August or early September. Don't hesitate to contact us in October. Dates will be limited, but we will do our best to get one of our team members to do your session.
